My name is Selena Sevastelis, I have recently graduated from Billy Blue College of Design (Torrens University) with a Bachelor's degree of Interior Design (Residential). I am a bright, dedicated and driven young designer who has always been passionate about interior design and decor. A part from my creative hobbies I enjoy going on long walks by the beach in the afternoons. 

 

Through my studies, I have learnt that design is not only a way to make our environment more aesthetically pleasing, but also as a tool to enhance the functionality of the world we live in. 

 

I am a fast learner, good communicator and approach everything I do with a positive attitude. I am an enthusiastic designer and have the ability to work well independently or collaboratively within a team. I have a strong understanding of client needs, functionality, and creating personalised spaces. Producing consistently high professional standards of work is important to me as I have a strong work ethic. 

 

This course has taught me not only to appreciate the small details, but also how to broaden my ways of thinking. I believe one of the most important trends in design for the future is sustainability, and I look forward to working on this aspect within the industry in the future. 

 

I am not only delighted but excited to be able to venture into the design industry to create spaces that make people feel lively and enriched. I hope to keep learning, applying my skills and capabilities and contributing as much as I can to the design industry.
