Concept Description:
This apartment overlooks beautiful Sydney harbour, including magnificent views of Barangaroo, Harbour Bridge and the Opera House. This is a spacious and contemporary single storey apartment designed for the modern couple - perfect for working or relaxing on weekdays and entertaining on weekends.

I’ve styled this apartment with neutral tones and luxurious materials to create a contemporary environment. The apartment contains light washed timber flooring with natural white walls creating a modern and fresh atmosphere. I carried these tones throughout the apartment with my furniture choices. The kitchen has been designed in a light timber laminate with creme coloured marble counter tops and black stools to give contrast.
When designing the open space public realm of the apartment it was important to take advantage of the views, so the kitchen, dining and living area all are positioned in front of the windows which
also brings in plenty of natural light.

The design elements of light colours, soft textures and timber carry through to the private realm. The private realm is located down a small hall way, where the home office is found and the master bedroom with walk-in-robe and ensuite.

The light timber flooring throughout the main areas of apartment is carried through to the private realm in certain hardware designs such as the slat wall in the home office. The light and neutral tones in this apartment design create a coastal environment complimenting the beautiful location and view.
